November 23, 2023 at the Children’s City Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital of Almaty, at the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases of KazNMU named after. S.D. Asfendiyarov held an event on the theme “We are against drugs”.

Listeners are provided with statistics on drug addiction in Kazakhstan. Familiarized with the work of anti-drug dispensaries, with the rules on how to avoid becoming a victim of drug addiction.

Purpose of the event: to explain the essence of drug addiction; to shape the social consciousness and civic position of the younger generation; determine why drug addiction has become commonplace; to promote in students a negative attitude towards drugs and to develop the ability to live with drug addicts. Recommendations are given on the order of actions of the population to combat drug addiction.
