Department of Outpatient Pediatrics

Employees of the department take an active part in the work of practical healthcare.

The teaching staff of the department constantly improves and improves their knowledge in clinical activities through various internships in the Republic of Kazakhstan and countries near and far abroad.

There are 2 research projects underway at the department.

Department teachers organise and conduct thematic scientific-practical and pathological-anatomical conferences at the clinical bases of the department for practical healthcare – they advise and supervise the children’s population, and participate in open days of city and republican significance.

The department’s employees have the highest qualification categories in paediatrics and other specialised specialities.

Many department teachers are excellent students in healthcare and have been awarded various state awards, letters of gratitude, and diplomas.

Faculty members of the department value their heritage, sacredly honour the names of teachers and established traditions, and actively contribute to developing their native university and the medicine of the future.

During the pandemic: professors of the department Sarbasova Zh.O., Nurgalieva Zh.Zh., associate professors Ibraeva K.E., Seisebaeva R.Zh. conducted online consultations on telemedicine, Associate Professor Azhakhmetova M.Z. In 2016, she participated in the operation of the trains: “Mangilik El”, “Tauelsiz Kazakhstan”, and “Densaulyk” in 2019 – provided medical assistance to the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Associate Professor Azhakhmetova M.Z. regularly participates in the TV show Astarly Akikat – Hijama, Child Violence.

Assistant Shim V.R. During the pandemic, he worked in a mobile brigade at the Municipal Public Hospital at the RV “CP No. 11”, providing free assistance to practical healthcare, and participated with assistant U.A. Kalykova. in carrying out 2 accreditations of the clinical base, representing the work of the pediatric department.

Assistant Tazhieva K.N. is an immunologist at a clinical base, conducts lectures, and seminars among medical workers and the population, and conducts classes in educational institutions (schools and kindergartens) in the Zhetysu district of Almaty.

In October 2023, employees of the Department of Outpatient Pediatrics held open days at clinical bases: Maksat Med, CP No. 8, CP No. 11, CP No. 16, CP No. 17, providing advisory assistance to children with disabilities and severe forms of chronic pathology.
