One of the department’s key areas of work is educational work. The overall goal is the comprehensive development of future competitive specialists with a professional higher education, high culture, intelligence, social activism, and the qualities of a patriotic citizen. The main objective of the department’s educational activities is to create conditions for students’ active life, for civic self-determination and self-realization, and for the maximum satisfaction of students’ needs for intellectual, cultural, and moral development.
According to the department’s educational work plan, various events are held annually: conferences, round tables, and meetings.
The advisors, curators and teaching staff of the department annually develop and approve a plan for the educational work of the department, according to which advisory hours are held, as well as monthly educational events that address current problems of modern youth, such as the prevention of drug addiction and alcoholism among young people, gambling, excessive social media addiction, etc..
The department hosts various events:
Independence Day, the Day of the State symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, meetings with veterans of the pediatric service, Children’s Day, World AIDS Day, to promote a healthy lifestyle.According to the department’s educational work plan, meetings are held with students of the dormitory and curatorial groups. Joint holding of various events on the topics “Student’s rights and duties”, “My student life”, “Terrorism is a threat to society”, “Let’s live together!”
The event “October 25 – Republic Day” was an important step for students to gain a deeper understanding of the history of independent Kazakhstan and strengthen national identity. During the event, the students’ activity and interest were demonstrated at a high level. This holiday has made a great contribution to making students proud of their country, cherish national values and foster a sense of patriotism. The main purpose of the event is to expand students’ knowledge of the history and culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, promote the values of Independence and develop youth patriotism. The great holiday of the country was celebrated by students Ped23-002 ; Med23-001; Med23-002.In connection with today’s holiday, quizzes were held among students, poems and songs about the Motherland were read out.

In 2025, Aksai hospital hosted a round table dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the theme “The Constitution is the basis for the development of the legal culture of youth, the unity of the state and society.”
The round table was held with groups P25-025 with ass.professor of the department Turgimbekov N.Zh. During the meeting, the following issues were discussed: the role of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan in building civil society, the role of the Constitution in shaping the legal culture of youth, anti-corruption standards of student behavior in higher education institutions, the formation of an anti-corruption worldview among students.
These events helped students to deepen their understanding of the importance of observing the rule of law and respecting the rights of every citizen, forming an informed attitude towards their future and the future of their country.
In November 2025, S.Kh. Ispullaeva held a discussion with third-year students of the Pediatrics and OM departments on the topic of “Suicide Prevention Among Students.” The objectives of this event were to highlight key concepts and approaches to the problem of suicide among students and to examine the causes and measures for preventing suicidal behavior.
