Pedagogical work is part of the educational process of the university as a whole and the department, in particular, it is aimed at implementing the tasks of the formation and development of the personality culture of future medical specialists. The main objectives of educational work are the formation of students about study, as a professional work, and a sense of belonging to a socio-professional group-healthcare. The comprehensive development of human and professional qualities of future specialists, the constant stimulation of the creative activity feasible for students, interest in their profession, and independence in the development of the theoretical and practical base of the chosen specialty.
Forms of educational work carried out at the department: collective and individual events with students, organized and conducted by curators of training groups and teachers of the Department of the Pediatrics School, as well as the participation of students in all events held by the NAO executive named after S.D. Asfendiyarov of a different scale.
The department draws up an educational work plan annually. The curators of the department from among the teachers are actively organizing various events with supervised groups. All plans are coordinated and approved, their implementation is controlled by the senior methodologists of the department on social issues and educational work of the school of pediatrics and the university.
Also, employees of the department conduct regular duty in the hostels of the university according to the schedule.
Republic Day – National Festival of the Republic of Kazakhstan!
Employees of the department of outpatient pediatrics of the head. Department of Seisebaeva R.Zh., prof. Nurgalieva J.Zh. together with interns P17-013; and P17-014 groups with a specialty “Pediatrics” celebrated the day of the republic with an educational hour in offline and online (for 5th year students, 7-year interns) format. Everyone knows that on October 25, 1990, a declaration of state sovereignty of Kazakhstan was adopted. The declaration proclaimed the sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR and declared the political and legal foundations of Kazakhstan as an independent state. On October 18, 1995, by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, on October 25, he was declared a national holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the day of the republic and since 2022 has been celebrated in Kazakhstan annually on October 25.
Pediatric Day – Children’s Day!
This event was the conduct of the PPS of the department, practical clinical bases, and intern pediatricians. This event was held based on the KGP on the PHV “GP No. 11” by students and interns of pediatricians who prepared presentations (history of pediatrics, the history of the APP, my profession as a doctor), videos, scripts, poems dedicated to doctors were read. This event made it possible to widely illuminate the history of the formation of the pediatric service in Kazakhstan, thereby fostering patriotism, love of profession, respect for history, respect, and acceptance of generations, preserving the prevailing traditions, and active assistance to the development of the native university and medicine of the future.

In December 2023, the staff of the department conducted and discussed a message from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan at clinical bases with students of bachelors, and interns of pediatricians in the form of round tables, lectures, and seminars.

The People of Kazakhstan is a very important document denoting the vector of political, economic, and social development of the country and affects all spheres of society with an emphasis on the economic development of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the presidential messages is to set the direction for the reforms, and organizational, regulatory, and legislative activities of the public sector.
