INVITATION LETTER

The School of Pediatrics and the Department of Children’s Diseases named after prof. N.A. Barlybayeva of Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University invite you to participate in the International Scientific and Practical Conference for Students, Interns, and Residents of pediatric profile “Young Pediatric Researcher-2025“. The conference will be held on 5th of December, 2025, at Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, Almaty (Kazakhstan), in both offline and online formats with the using distance technologies.

The aim of the scientific conference is to discuss new scientific and practical findings in pediatrics; exchange ideas; explore collaborative research directions; and strengthen cooperation while enhancing the scientific potential of young pediatric researchers.
The primary objective of the conference is to create a platform for the professional development of young specialists in pediatrics, enabling them to contribute to addressing the current challenges in modern pediatrics. Additionally, it provides an excellent opportunity to showcase their research work.

Main scientific areas of the conference:

  • Modern clinical aspects of pediatrics
  • Current issues in neonatology
  • Current issues in pediatric anesthesiology and resuscitation
  • Current issues in outpatient pediatrics
  • Current issues in pediatric infectious diseases
  • Current issues of diagnostics and treatment of rare diseases in children
  • Current challenges in pediatric surgery
  • Application of new diagnostic methods for pediatric diseases
  • New approaches to the treatment and prevention of diseases in children

The working languages are Kazakh, Russian, and English.

The duration of the oral presentation is 10 minutes. Those wishing to participate in the conference must submit the registration form (Application 3) and abstracts (Application 1) by November 21, 2025, to the following email address: [email protected].

If any of the above items are missing, the materials will not be accepted for publication. Poster presentations are prepared in accordance with the requirements (Application 2).

Participation in the conference is free of charge.

As part of the conference, a competition for the “Best Presentation” will be held, with awards for I, II, and III place, accompanied by certificates of honor. All participants will receive certificates.

Application 1

Requirements for Abstract Submission:

  • Length: up to 800 words
  • Format: Microsoft Word 2003 or later
  • Page settings: top margin – 2 cm, bottom margin – 2 cm, left margin – 2 cm, right margin – 2 cm
  • Font: Times New Roman, KZ Times New Roman; font size – 12 pt
  • Line spacing: single; paragraph indentation – 1 cm; portrait orientation; no headers or footers; pages should not be numbered; text should be justified
  • Abstracts must not contain graphs, tables, figures, or photographs
  • In addition to the abstract, the file must include author information (participation application); name the file with your last name.

The conference organizing committee reserves the right to reject presentations that fall outside the main areas of the conference or to decline the publication of abstracts that do not meet the aforementioned requirements. The text must be stylistically and technically edited. The organizing committee does not intend to edit the abstracts. An individual cannot be the author or co-author of more than two presentations. Applications submitted to the organizing committee after the specified deadline will not be considered.

Poster presentation formatting requirements:

  1. Poster presentation title;
  2. Full name of the author(s);
  3. Full name of the research supervisor;
  4. Institution name, city, and country;
  5. Main body (introduction, methods, results, conclusion, bibliography);
  6. Poster dimensions: 95 x 110 cm (poster provided in PDF format)
